KEMU is a Public Medical University situated in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Established in 1860, the college is named after King Edward VII.

Laid out by the British Raj, its name is Lahore Medical School. In 1868, the University of Dublin allowed Lahore Medical School understudies "equivalent honors as English school understudies."

In 1871, the University supplanted the current Anarkali Dispensary with Mayo Hospital as an assistant clinic. Around the same time, the College added the Punjab University, while in 1887 the University added Lady Aitchison Hospital as the second instructing medical clinic.

After Pakistan's freedom, the college turned into the main clinical school in the region and in 2005 turned into its own certification contract. It has since extended and manages seven reference clinics, including Lady Willingdon Hospital.
